Its all about food...

Its food time in United States, US is rich in all aspects except food. Specially when you are in a small town like Columbia. When I was coming here, I was a bit concern about the food. Being a vegi you probably have very few options to eat outside. If you are born and bought up in a city like Indore which is famous for the food culture, definitely you feel like in a starving hell.

But, its an old saying "There is a will , there is a way", struggling for a good food for first six months finally I got a way to meet the taste of the typical Indian food, after getting a new Indorian room-mate we finally came up with the solution of the weekend parties, where we can try some of the unknown cooking skills sprouting in us. The results started coming in, I was shocked to know that I am a born pav-bhaji king, along with a good chola making skills.

One of the memorable time was diwali dinner, just a few names would be enough to tell the fun- Pav Bhaji, Kheer, Tomato Soup, Onion Pakoda, Potato Pakoda, and very rarely available Masala Papad... 10 guys, working for 4 hours... food took the whole diwali evening, from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM, but was an amazing experience having that late night dinner. Its a great royalty cooking food here, you get most of the things ready... just need to use some of the instincts and some of the skills... and amazing food is waiting for you there!!!

So have fun and you are most invited to the special roti (chapati) festival the winter break!!!

Hi Anu,

I am admiring and enjoying your taste, really great. But when and how you spare for all these things it is really a matter of concern for me, you ensure that full sleep is must for good memory and health. Go on marching ahead.
All the Best and also prepare to celebrate Grand X-mas and grand-grand Happy New Year.

I am,

Yours,
